## **NAUNTON RECREATION GROUND** ## CHARITY NO. 1185592 CHARITY REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 31[ST] DECEMBER 2021 ## **TRUSTEES REPORT** The charity was set up in 2019 to secure and maintain the open space of Naunton Recreation Ground for the public benefit of the residents of Naunton and the surrounding area, with the object of providing opportunities for formal and informal sport and outdoor recreation that improves health, well-being and social welfare. The charity was set up to purchase the freehold title of the Naunton Recreation Ground from St Andrew’s Parochial Church Council. As of 31[st] December 2021, the approval of the sale of the freehold title by the Diocese of Gloucester is outstanding. Therefore, the sale of the recreation ground to the charity is yet to take place. As a result, there have been no activities or financial transactions during the period ending 31[st] December, 2021. The trustees are of the view that the purchase of the Naunton Recreation Ground is progressing and will take place either in 2022 or early 2023.
