Summary of Main Activities Undertaken for the Public Benefit
The trustees, in makFng decisions about which aaivities have been undertaken to pursue
our charitable objects. have had due regard to the guidance issued by the Chanty
Commission on public ljenefft when exercising any powets or dulles to which the
guidance is relevant.
During the year to 31st December 2025. the charity undertook the following key actiwties
to fvlfill these objectives:
o Continued development of the Schools Vknk by our Schools. Coordlnator supporting and
mentoring different groups ol students in the l(tal Dawlish schools induding peer-to-peer
befriending, an inter-generationai project and an After School drop-in project.
Continued to operate the Dawlish commun￿ Larder with volunteers. There was a paid
Coordinaior in place for six r￿nIhS in the middle of the ye￿.
Co-chaired "Helpino Dawlish" , the collaboration of key lo¢al agencies and charities to
combat ihe negative social ellects of the co&-ot4Mng crisis. and other local needs in
Dawlish.
Contribution of Volunteers
The charity relies heabllty on its team ot appr0￿matety 20 volunteers, including the Local
Co-ordinator to deliver the various projects working students in the local schools.
Another volunteer has spent many hours managing the Dawlish Community Larder and its
volunteers as well as traning the pabd Larder Coordinator.

Section D: Achievements and Performance
Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charty During the Year
The school's work continued to push foThvard with supwrting our local primary schools in
the RE classroom and with assemblies to the extent that every child across the main
primary schools was impacted ty Christian support at some point Working closely with
the Ethos Leads in both, y￿ also branched out and brought the schools into OUT
communty. A number of children from across the year groups leamt about the different
helping agencies in the town. dso had a very busy Ea*er welcoming Galehouse Year
4 of around 60 children to participate in 'Easter Is...7. This created some wonderful follow
up opportunib'es to talk through the V￿￿der of Easter. furthermore. ran our annual
Christmas and Easter puppet 5how5- giving around 80 EYFS children their first
experience of the Christian story.
In the Colleoe we coniinued to work dosely with the pasto￿ Leads wnning ROC
Champions and Connection - Hope Friends. ROC Champions saw 20 Year 7 children
supported by 20 Year 9 children woth closety with each other. The College saw so much
value and potential in the program rt requested that the 202>26 program increase to
weekly sessions, quadrupling the conLact time! We also added new pastoral programs..
Kintsugi Hope small group sessions. Connection - Hope Toddlers and ROC Solid
one-to-one ￿￿nIoring. This latter program was a resp)nse to funding cuts at the College
and saw a number for vulnerable people supported on the weeldy basis.
The Community Larder's *alislics for the last three nKJnths of 2025 are -
October
28 adults and 18 children helped
November 28 adults and 27 children helped
December 91 adults and 49 children helped.
We continue to support Gatehouse School with their iTrlM)use larder donating food
weekly.,
We deliver regulaty to DavAish Hospttal to the staff to support them in their high pressure
work.
Dawiish College receives Lidl baked g(K)ds weeks ftorn our team and we will suppty
to various other organisations in the town depending on what relationship they have with
those in need.
INe also have very good and strong contact with THAT Fo(Klbank in Newton Abbot.

Review of the charity's financial position.
During Ihe year the income was £43,668 (prior year £35,470) and expenditure was
£34.432 (prior year was £25,917). As a resuft the surplus for the year was £9,236 (prior
year £9,553) . Cash funds at the year e￿1 weie £39,582 ( prior year £30.346).
Brief Statement on the Charity's Policy on Reserves
The trustees to maintain unrestricted reserves at a level that covers be￿een 3 and 6
monihs of esserrtid operating costs to ensure Corninuity through managing the financi
funding risks and unplanned operaty'onal costs.

The charty received donaiions and grants from other chartties, trusts and individuals.
