|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|From the 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024, ROC<br>Dawlish has a) continued it successful development of a<br>family mentoring scheme in collaboration with the local<br>Secondary School; b) co-chaired ‘Helping Dawlish’, the a<br>collaboration it co-founded between key local agencies and<br>charities, combatting the negative social effects of the cost-<br>of-living crisis; c) successfully raised funds for a part-time<br>Coordinator to run the Dawlish Community Larder, to help<br>meet the needs of local families and individuals struggling<br>to access basic foodstuffs, and d) continued to employ a<br>Schools’ Coordinator who has successfully managed the<br>many different projects we run through our local schools,<br>including an peer-to-peer befriending scheme and an after-<br>school drop-in project.|

The charity<br>has continued to provide essential and much-needed<br>practical input into the wider community through the cost-<br>of-living crisis, especially through running the Dawlish<br>Community Larder, which supplies essential foodstuffs and<br>other household groceries to local families in need.<br>Through its Schools’ Coordinator, ROC Dawlish has also<br>been further developing a family mentoring scheme, in<br>partnership with the local Secondary School. This scheme<br>works with local families struggling to get their young<br>people to access education, for whatever reason, helping to<br>improve school attendance. In addition, ROC Dawlish has<br>been pioneering a supervised peer-to-peer befriending<br>scheme between Year 9 and Year 7 students, as well as an<br>after-school drop-in café both aimed at increasing young<br>peoples’ successful engagement with education.|
