|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|From the 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021, it has a)<br>set up a pilot family mentoring scheme in collaboration with<br>the local Secondary School; b) continued to be a key player<br>in running ‘Helping Dawlish’ the united Covid-19 response<br>in the town, as a collaboration between 12 key local<br>agencies and charities that will outlive the pandemic and<br>continue to help make Dawlish a safer, kinder community;<br>and c) took on the running of the Dawlish Community<br>Larder, in collaboration with Helping Dawlish, to help meet<br>the needs of local families and individuals struggling to<br>access basic foodstuffs in the aftermath of the pandemic.<br>All these activities have been in the public benefit and have<br>been consistent with our stated charitable objects.|

The charity has continued to provide<br>strategic input into the town-wide Covid-19 response<br>initiative, Helping Dawlish, especially through liaison with<br>local schools. Most centrally in this, the charity has formally<br>taken on running the Dawlish Community Larder, a small-<br>scale referral-only project that provides emergency food<br>and basic groceries to local people in need. Through<br>collaboration with local supermarkets and FareShare, the<br>charity has also been able to reduce food waste and<br>provide healthy fresh food to local schools and families in<br>need. ROC Dawlish has also set up a pilot family mentoring<br>scheme, through collaboration with Dawlish College, the<br>local Secondary School. Whilst still in its early days, this<br>scheme promises hope for transformation in local families<br>struggling to access education, for whatever reason.|
