Based on changes in the health of trustees, bereavements, and other unforeseen factors, the work of Friends of Agape Love Family Home (FOALFH) has continued to be limited. One of the members of the board has offered to make her land and partially built 3-bedroom house available to Agape Love Family Home for use as shelter for vulnerable/orphaned children in Lusaka Zambia. The main role of FOALFH in 2023 was to provide moral and other support for the refurbishment of the home, to ensure that it is fit for purpose, and meets health and safety requirements. Individuals who are friends of Agape Love Family Home have made financial pledges to support the charity. One member of the charity travelled to Zambia to do the initial networking to help identify resources and personnel. She also transported gifts in kind that were donated to FOALFH (UK) to Zambia (including baby clothes, nappies, and appropriate food items). With these, she supported women and vulnerable babies in prison by donating them to another charity, ‘Gracious Hands’ which supports such women and the babies they had during incarceration. |

Para 1.25 | Any new Trustees shall be selected via: suggestion/recommendation by any one of the existing Trustee members. They need to be ‘a natural person’, at least 16 years old, known for their integrity, possessing relevant skills, and a compassion toward others with a sincere care for improving the living conditions of others. This will be done by convening a meeting of the existing trustees, receiving unanimous agreement, and passing a resolution that the individual will be invited to serve with us on the Board of Trustees for FOALFH. This is the selection method, until we have reason to revise it. |
