Seven Kings Lions Club {CIOI was registered with the Charities Commission number 1185513 on 26th September 2019 and has 3 trustees and 7 volunteers. Funding is raised through dlfferent sources l.e. Just Grvin& Go Fund Me. Networking Events etc. Our main projerts delivered: This year club had engaged with "Haven House Foundation Lt(r. which is a I(al hospi for young children. They provide specialised care and physical comfort and emotional support to th the child and the parents. Foundatioft was in need of CADD pump that administers the medication and also for training purpose. Ciu purchased the pump at the cost £2.750.(N) and presented to the foundation. A generous Giving Tree initiative grant was receNed from -Groundwork UK (Tesco plcl" for an amount of £I,CKMJ.IXI. Club would like to thank °Groundwork UK (Tesco pk). for their continuous support for thi5 Initiative. A generous donation was also received from "Kshatriya Sevak Mandal U.K" for an amount of £501.00. Club would like to thank them for their suprM)rt. There were also small aggregate amounl of £3(K).CKI that were donated to Lions Club Internatlonal prolects. Glvlng Tree InttlatNe. this year identified disadvantaged school children In the Redbridge Borough to whom club provided gifts that the child chose for and may not othenwise receive. Club distributed approximately 106 Christmas Gift to children at a total cost of £l,Wl.52. Food project, £599.99 worth of food supplies were donated to a local Gurudwara who had prepared meals nd distributed to the needy and homeless in the communty. Kiva Funding is our ongoing project, and they were not included in previous yearfs reports. This year we have included as Off Balance Sheet Item. These fi8ures are reported in US dollars, where the club provides business enterprise loans and personal support to indrwiduèls on a global ba515 as an interest free revolving loan allowing them to invest in their business to further develop. so that they can prosper and improve thelr standard of living and support their family. To date the club has provided $1,289.06 such business enterprise loans that have helped 57 individuats to date. Note 2. ICQ Message in a Bottle and IIXI Message in o Wallet which give the attending medics access to medical history of a patient in an emergency either at home or on go in a wallet. were distributed to local Chadwell Heaih community Safe Neighbourhood Team ISNT). Club collerted over IIJXJ pair of used and discarded pSCriptn glasses, majority of these glasse5 were supplied by local branch of "Boots Optician<. We would like to thank Boots Opticians for their support in this initiative. which were supplied to Lions aub International who would then distribute them internationally to help disadvantage patients improve their vision. In 2023 statement of Income and Expenditure the Giving Tree initiative cost wa5 stated as £1.428.15, thls cost has been corrected and restated as £1.327.15. Note 4.
