NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENT5 ICONTINUEDI
FOR THE YEAR EJVDED 31 DECEMBER 2024
17 Unrestrkted funds
Icontinuedl
The Church Halland Clergy House designated funds represenl the proceeds from the Sale of properties in
previous years. The funds are invested with the CBF.
In previous years, funds were raised for the provision of a Church Tower room. These were recorded as
restricted funds. Followin8 subiequent improvements to the church, there was no longer a requirement lor
a Church Tower room and the PCC, having obtained permission from the surviving donors and Church
House, agreed to reclassify these funds as ￿n￿Stricted funds. The designated funds are held by the PCC to
finance routine future maintenance costs to the extent that thÈse cannot be met by unrestricted donation5.
The restricted fabric fund was the result of a bequest by Mr King-smith, to which the Church Roof + Tower
fund was added in 2008 to maintain and irnprove the fabric of the church. The funds are invested wtth the
CBF. The Chancel Trust fund exists as a resvlt of a bequest in previous yeafs to maintain the Chancel. The
fund is invested wilh the CBF. Funds have been received during the yèar explicitly requested to be used at
the discretbon of the incumbent.
