Courses ( voluntary attendance ) are provided by District 105 CW for members to attend as appropriate.
A member buddy system is in place to initiate new members.
Droitwich Lions is a member of District 105CW (one of 8 Districts covering England and Wales). Districts are divided into Zones and we are in a Zone of 6 local Clubs and work closely with the Zone for both social and charity events.
The major risk to the Club is the aging membership, but the Club has been successful recently in recruiting two younger members and the prospect of more members is encouraging.

The principal source of fund raising is included in Section C above.

The accounts show details of expenditure, which is mainly made to local charities, schools and centres and individuals in need of help with purchase of essential household equipment.
The money allocated is roughly 75% local and 25% national and international.
- The Club runs on the basis of donating funds soon after money is collected, keeping bank balances as low as possible.
