For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering and distress of hedgehogs in need of care and attention by providing a rescue, care and rehabilitation service for sick, injured, or orphaned hedgehogs with the aim of releasing such hedgehogs back into the wild wherever possible; 3. To advance the education of the public in the study of hedgehogs and in the care, methods of treatment, conservation and habitat of hedgehogs’. |

Despite a national lockdown, the charity continued to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured hedgehogs. We also continued to educate the public by participating in online forums, question and answer sessions and various social media interactions. |

Para 1.20 | Through our work, we have managed to save four hundred and three hedgehogs during this period and run 18 education programs and train five members of the public to rescue, rehabilitate and release hedgehogs whom have gone onto to form rescues themselves. We continue to educate via workshops and talks and take part in various research programs where invited. We have worked with other local rescues in order to cover a wider ranging area and to further engage the public to help save the humble hedgehog. |
