**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF RAMSGATE, KENT AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”), TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PRESERVATION, PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF ELLINGTON PARK.

**Activities:** The Friends of Ellington Park undertake activities to inform, educate, encourage a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing, and encourage community spirit for residents of, and visitors to, Ramsgate.These activities are held within a public park, and are open to everyone regardless of age, gender, ability or ethnicity.
