Review of Activities and Achievements 

Rev Naomi Starkey was appointed Bro Eryri Ministry Area Leader at Pentecost 2024 and since then the Ministry Area Council have met approximately bi-monthly, with a focus on developing plans for property, finance and mission. 

Some service times have changed to enable a more sustainable pattern of ministry and the team of worship leaders meet monthly to plan and share ideas. An Advent course took place plus a busy timetable of special services for Christmas and Easter. 

An ‘eco project’ has been developed in partnership with Gwynedd Council at Llanddeiniolen churchyard to enhance biodiversity. The monthly services continue to attract worshippers from a wide area. 

Pastoral work has included regular services at a local care home as well as home communion for housebound parishioners. There have been a growing number of baptisms plus bookings for weddings. 

The church hall at Penisarwaun was refurbished as part of a makeover show on the TV channel S4C, which has led to a marked increase in bookings. Fundraising activities have continued, including Christian Aid ‘Big Breakfast’, coffee mornings and Christmas lunch packs for residents at a local homeless hostel. 

Adolygu Gweithgareddau a Chyflawniadau 

Penodwyd y Parchedig Naomi Starkey yn Arweinydd Ardal Weinidogaeth Bro Eryri ar y Pentecost 2024 ac ers hynny mae Cyngor yr Ardal Weinidogaeth wedi cyfarfod tua phob deufis, gyda ffocws ar ddatblygu cynlluniau ar gyfer eiddo, cyllid a chenhadaeth. 

Mae amseroedd rhai gwasanaethau wedi newid i alluogi patrwm gweinidogaeth mwy cynaliadwy ac mae'r tî4m o arweinwyr addoli yn cyfarfod yn fisol i gynllunio a rhannu syniadau. Cynhaliwyd cwrs Adfent ynghyd ag amserlen brysur o wasanaethau arbennig ar gyfer y Nadolig a'r Pasg. 

Mae ‘prosiect eco’ wedi’i ddatblygu mewn partneriaeth a4 Chyngor Gwynedd ym mynwent Llanddeiniolen i wella bioamrywiaeth. Mae’r gwasanaethau misol yn parhau i ddenu addolwyr o ardal eang. 

Mae gwaith bugeiliol wedi cynnwys gwasanaethau rheolaidd mewn cartref gofal lleol yn ogystal a4  chymuno cartref i blwyfolion nad ydynt bellach yn gallu mynychu gwasanaethau. Bu nifer cynyddol o fedyddiadau ynghyd a4 bwciadau ar gyfer priodasau. 

Cafodd neuadd yr eglwys ym Mhenisarwaun ei hadnewyddu fel rhan o ‘makeover show' ar sianel  deledu  S4C,  sydd wedi  arwain  at  gynnydd sylweddol mewn  archebion. Mae gweithgareddau codi arian wedi parhau, gan gynnwys 'Brecwast Mawr' Cymorth Cristnogol, boreau coffi a phecynnau cinio Nadolig i drigolion mewn hostel digartref lleol.
