and pay lorwai'd. His vision and value5 fotin the basis of the Twst a5 WE continue his influential work in the football
world, in the local comn)unity. and beyond.

Significaiil 9Ctivities
The 'Strike a Change Monitoring Progi'amme, is a collaboration between all six West Midlands Football Club
Foundations and the Cyj'ille Regis Legacy YJTst. The pi'ogryatnme is targeted at 13-14 year old young people who
deinonstrate a passion for football, and are consideied to be disengaged in school. or in ihei¥ corwnuniti¢s. These young
people are pi'imarily seletted from within existin¥ KICKS progrdtntnes. or where KICKS does not exist. froin projecis
run in coordination with s¢hoo15. The Charity deliveiB weekly se5sion5 W￿tIl these youllg people 0¢ theii. 5pe¢ifi¢
Foundation location, ai'ound the tyille Standard, and then ai'ranges for then) all to meet collectively at L)ne of the
stadiutn5, as a whole group, forined acJ'os5 the six Foundations. Enspirational mentors al'e then bi'oiight in to Share the
benefits of theii. acquired wisdom and expei'ience of being involved in r￿tball and beyond, to show the young p¢ople
that Ihey can dreain big, aim high, and above all ovei'come Dbsiacles. if they put their minds to it. Tl)e chosen venue is
rotated aci'oss the six Clubs to ensure the yoiing people visit every Club in the region.
The Charity ha5 now take%] over 440 young people through Stt'ike a Change, theiefore impacting the lives of many young
people and theii. conununities, We deliver soine of ow. sessions dui'ing thc school day, within school, as wc have be¢n
able to achieve better engagement fi.om students on the days that they attend Strike a Change. The progi?mme continues
to grow fi'om strength to.%trcngth.

Our net expenditt]i'e over income for the ye2)r was £13,717 (2023 income over expenditure of £31,067).
It is the poli¢y of the Charity that unrestricted Cunds which have nat been desigllated for a specific use should be
maintained at a level equivalent to between three and Six month's expenditure. The Tn]stees consider that Itserves at this
level will ensure that, in the event of a significant di.op in fiinding, they will be able to continue the Charitys CUlTei)t
activities while considei'ation is given to ways in wliich additional funds Inay bg raiscd. This level of reserves has not
been maintained throughout the year due to the drop in income in the cliai'ity, althoLEgh the Ti'ustee5 believe that the level
uf funds al thE year end will be sufficient to pay the costs of the Chaiity in the next financial year and. as already noted
the Trustees have identified additional altetn<ltive Sources of funding for the nexl year, and applications for these are
already Lmderway.
Reserves held at the balance sheet d8te totalled £17,902 (2023 £31,619) of which £16,732 weTe llnTestrECtEd Funds
(2023 £14,160).

Basis of preparing the financial statements
The financial statements of the charitable company, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been
prepared in accordall¢e with the Chai'ities SORP IFRS 1021 'Accounting and Reporting by Chai'ities.. St8teTnent
of Recommended Pi"actice applicable to Chariti￿ preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of li"eland IFRS 102) {effective l January 2019),,
