Objectives and aims
The Cyrille Regis Lega¢y Trust aim8 to honour and remember the life of Cirille Regis MBE.
Led by Cyrille'¥ family, after his passing away in January 2018. the Tnjst will serve as a 14sting legacy to a great fomily
man. And a gtant foDtb8lling icon. CyTille held charity work in the highest regard. and Li Was his privilege to giv¢ back
and pay forward. His vision values forn the basis of the Tru8t a8 we continue hi8 influential work in the football
world, in the local ¢ornmuni¢y, and beyond.

- develop support football-b88ed projects which lie at the heat of their communities;
r¢ale 8nd Support mentoring initiaiiveA which help people from disadvantaged ba¢k¥round& to improve their Nocial
nd economic circumsiances;

The 'Strike a Changc Monitorin8 Pro8r4mrn¢' is 4 collaboration between all stx West Midlandx Fooiball Club
Foundations and the Cyrille Re¥15 [£8￿Y TTr￿t, The programme 15 largeted at 13-14 yw old young people who
dcmonytrate a passiort for fooiball, and are considered to be diserlgaged in ¥chool, or in their communities. These youn8
peopl¢ ar¢ prinwily ¥elected from within ¢xisling KICKS programmey. or where KICKS docs not ¢X15t, from projects
Tun in coordination with 5¢hool$. The Chwiiy delivers weekly sesxiong with these young people at their specific
Foundation location, around the Cyrille Sthndard, and then ￿ange5 for them all to meet Colleciively at one of th¢
8t&diurny. as a whole group, fornied across the six Foundalions. Inspirttlional menior8 Are then brought in to share the
benefits of their acquired wisdom and experience of bein8 involved in fooibull beyond, to 8how the younB people
that they Gan dr¢am big, aim high, and above all overcome obstacles. if they put their minds to it. The ¢ho8¢n venue 18
rotht¢d across the six Clubs to ensure the young people vi81t every Club in the region.
The Charity has now tsken over 360 youttg people through Strike a Ch&nge, therefore im￿¢t]ng the lives of many young
people and their communities. We deliver some of our se88ions during the school d4y. within Bchool, a5 we have been
able to achieve bei*r engagement from 6tud¢n(8 on the day$ that ¢hey attend Strike a Change. I'he programmc continues
lo grow from Strength to $irength. We were able to Secure funding to take the 2022123 8raduates for & life ¢h4nging
¢xperience at Si Geor8e's Park- th¢ home of the FA.
We reported last year thai the Tru8teeA ww¢ working on nuking a documcntsry that would document wrne of the stories
be￿.nd our Strike A Change students, families from Commonwealth countrtes. We have rAOW completed it, and it
provided a new and exciting opportunity for our students and their families. and continuE5 to be a hi8hlight for our
Board and team.
