The charity has been set up to continue the work of the unincorporated charity of the Sisters of the Cross and Passion and will engage in a broad range of charitable activities: education, health care, pastoral, spiritual, social care and financial help in the UK and Ireland. In all our activities we will try to respond where the need is greatest.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are The Relief Of Poverty, The Provision Of Relief, Assistance And Comfort To The Sick, The Provision Of Education, And The Advancement Of The Teachings Of The Roman Catholic Church In The Light Of The Precepts Contained In The Schedule, Or Such Other Purposes As Are Lawfully Authorised From Time To Time By The Constitutions Of The Congregation, By Such Means As Are Best Suited To The Times And The Place In Which The Provision Is To Be Made.
