It also aims to support and be a hub for the wider local community wlthln the vlllage. Cylch Meithrin Carmel offers foundatlon phase education for chlldren 2 10 4 years old. It Is located tn the village hall of a Small rural village in North Wales called Carmel. It provides a vital chlldcare and education 5eNlce for the villa8e. whlch avolds parents havlng to travel much 8reatef dlstances to other options. also serves as a vital hub to the local community. in partlcular as the small loul primary school was closed 8 years a80. Athl•vements and perfornianee In September the lunch club took pce dalty alorvd wlth the t•xl ser4Ke to the local Primary School. We are constantly r•lslng awareness of the exlstence of the Nursery be It by Means of walks wlth the chlldren around the local are•, holdln8 fundralsin8 events where all •re Invbted to attend and runnln8 r•ffles. In ihe summer months the Nursery was ab io celebrate the children's year at the Nursery wr(h a day out at Foel Fami where parents were invited to joln the children. The Nursery held a Bake Off event where over 30 entries were provided and many cake5 were eaten, a Halloween disco where both events gave the local community and chlldren a chance to come together and enjoy themselve5. In November there wa5 an Autumn raffle where many local businesses Bavesupport with prfzes. In Decemberthe Nursery children had thelrown Chrlstmas partv wSth a vlslt Irom Santa. In March the Nursery held an Easter raffle wlth many great prlzes and local buslne$5 SilPPOrt. The Cylch has been working alongside the comrnittee for the hall in whlch the Thjrsery Is sltuated to look at Grants to better the facllttles for the Cylch and the hall Itself. Successful grant applications in Mah meant ihe Cylch had a new partition wall twilt withln the Neuadd whlch provides a Secure, safe and warrner environment for the chlldren and staff.
