The present Charitable Incorporled Organisation {CIOI was registered by The Chaty Commission in September 2019. with Charty number 1185320. The assets, liabilthes and activities of the Church were transferred from the former unincorporated charity with effect from 26 June 2020. -The Trustees consider that there ar8 sufficient r&serves to maintsin our regular a¢tiv&es. Refurbishment work is being funded from reserves. together with a loan facilty from the custodian trustee. Potential risks have been considered and taken into account in planning for the future. - TFUStees serve for a term of not more than three years land may be eleCted) and £re given training on appointment Ai tay trustees 8ttandeL% a Baptist update course in March 2025. Objectives & Activities The aims of the charty are summed up in the church's mission statementr. to practtse and promote the WOf5hip OT God, to be a loving Christian community and to spread the Christian gospel in the locality and. through our support of others. the wid&rwodd. our activities follow from thase three aims. Achi$v¢ments & Performan¢o During the year the church recelved regular income sufficieftt to maintain its ministry and actwllles in the tommunty. and to fulfil our responsibSlltles for the upkeep of our premises. We have continued to reach out tcs our local communty through Friendship $Ce, held tipjice monthly, promding activities such as fitness sessions, craft. music and d.igital suppotL We have organised a Quiz night which made good conne¢tion$ in our communty. We have joined wsth a local multKultural group Bnng me Sunshine in promoling wellthing amongst the older member5 of our communty, and have trEen part OT the annu21 eGumeni¢al Servi for Wortd Day of Ptsyer. We also maintain a lively online digital presen. In our churth we have welcomed many of diverse backgounds LO our Sunday services and midweek online gatherings for study and prayer. Our reeent focus has been on deopening connections o faTth and witness thin and beyond our building. We have provided activities for children on Sundays and Monday evenings, which we will continue to grow, 2nd Fatth Hub, for older tegnagers and young adu$, provtdes space for stuty and social Interactton. Grn9 Patch, the nursery that usas one of our halts, hss been abte to rrointain its work throughout the year. We contributed to a varraty of outside causes (listed in note 7 to the financial st*ments). Plans for Future In the future the church plans to continue, under God's guidan4 to seek to further its sim$, especially the spiriiual and nuffierical growth of our Christian eommuntty. We are hoping to continue to build on what we have begun in our refU1$hed building since 2022, wth charity and social events. We will continue to welcome and support our local community. and are exploring newways of llIng our mission objective. Responsibilities and basis cf report As the chartty trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordan with the requirements of the Charittes Act 2011 (The ACVJ. I report in respect my examinatton of the Charitys accounts carried out under sectlon 145 OT the 2011 Act and in Irrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by.the Charity Commission under sectton 145 (5) (b) of 2011 Act Independertt examinerfs statement have completed my examination. I confim that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in ary material r&8p . accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charty as required by section 130 of the Art" or ° the accounts do not acrd with those records", or ° the accounts do not complywith the applicable requirements concetning the form arKJ content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulattons 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give s true and far view which is not a matter considered as part of an independerrt examination.
