Summa of main activities in relation to theu ob" The church has gathered for worship each Sunday and observed and celebrated all the major Christian festivals. The leadership team and the general Church Meeting have continued to meet regularly. A Bible study group has met weekly and a prayer breakfast monthly and programme of social activities has been held throughout the year. The sensible use of social media is one of our main ways of communicating with everyone. Welcoming others into our building and seeking to serve the local community remain important. The infornation about all activities is shared via an Annual Report and the Annual 8udget of the church includes the provision for supporting our local. national and international commitments. SECTION D ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE Summa of the main achievements of the chari in During the past year vle have celebrated 10 year5 of our minister leading the church during which we have continued to have the encouragement of many new faces beGoming part of the fellowship.
As a town ntre church we draw diverse attendees from quite a wide geographical area. One aspect of this is that our fellowship stiii attrads many whose first language is not English. We have to recognise that such people are not always with us for any length of time but in this role as a transitional church we still aim to make everyone feel welcome whilst they are with us. Our regular church attendance averages more than 50 and covers several age groups. Services, including all the major Christian festivals, are varied and seek to offer a balance beeen a traditional and modern approach to worship, as well as aiming to integrate adults. children and young people into all aspects. We have created occasional opportuniS for the felk)wship to rellect and review our church lrfe and tried to act on new suggests'ons both in worship and meetings. A programme of social events has also been included in the calendar. In the past year the Friday drop-in has sometimes been challenging t>ut has continued to provide practical help for those in need. As a fellowship we have also continued to support other worthwhile causes. Our church premises are well used by a variety of outside groups with whom we have good relationships. We have also enSUd that our church building and the minister's Manse are kept well maintained. The Church trustees have conlinued to meet and plan monthly. Pastoral care, news and general information about services and the fellowship has been shared via text, WhatsApp, email and newsletter which together with phone calls and personal visits has helped to keep everyone connected. The church website is another important way to reach those who are currently on the outside of the fellowship Financially we ¢ontinue to be graieful that our members give sacrificially to ensure that 811 aspects of ministry a supported and our seNe8 provide a cushion for any unforeseen events. Th8 church is a happy and steady one and is positive about its future. SECTION E FINANCI The Church holds its fund within four account areas. Over the last year we have had an increase in car park and room usage this has increased our income. Our expenditure has been high as we continue with the maintenance and renewal programme for both the Church and the Manse. We have also given an increased amount to other Charities. Fund raising events. have tended to be on a break even basi8 throughout the year.
SECTION F LAND AND BUILDINGS The church has the use of two buildings. The Church building on Chaucer Street. which is used for weekly communal worship and communty activities. And also, a manse which provides a horne for the incurnbent minister and family. The deeds to both buildings and land are held by The North Westem Baptist Association and would be managed by the association in the event of church closure.
