This aim is primarily but not exclusively for the benefit of Christians ofany denomination and their families who have need ofthe facilities by reason oftheir age, youth, infirmity, disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances. 				This ClO was set up to replace Lenchwood Trust Charity 505829.The
				Trustees ofthe latter decided that it would be more effective to run
				Lenchwood under the umbrella ofa CIO and this charity was registered
				to facilitate this.
				The transfer ofassets from the old status tothe new is complicated,
				involving the first registration ofunregistered land, legal charges over
				assets taken to secure bank lending facilities, delays in opening an
				appropriate account with our preferred bankers, Lloyds Bank. The
				process oftransfer was also severely hampered by the Coronavirus pandemic throughout 2020.
