| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During the reporting period the school in Hanover, Jamaica who were the beneficiaries of the first shipment made since the Abigail Fitzgerald Foundation became a registered charity remained mainly closed with children learning remotely. With these adjustments it was not practicable to send shipments to the school, nor to access other schools in the region to send shipments to as they also remained closed for the most part during the reporting period. Trustees have remained in close contact with the school to understand their emerging and ongoing needs in order to see where the charity could identify how best to fulfil the objects once schoolchildren returned to the classrooms. |
