We are set up to further Evangelical Christianity throughout England through grant making and Christian education, especially for the training of evangelical Christian leaders. We give financial help to individuals to enable them to receive evangelical Christian education and training.

People do not have to be members of the organisation in order to benefit – our criteria are based largely on the individual’s potential for current and future Christian ministry and leadership.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Our trustees have read and always have regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. We examine our plans for the year, in terms of the number of individuals to support through grants, and how they qualify for such support in light of this guidance at our trustees’ meetings.

Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)

We are grateful for the help received from volunteers, particularly in the administrative process while setting up the charity and its banking facilities and hope to have further similar help in future.

You may choose to include further statements, where relevant, about:

Section E Financial review

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves

In our first year we have not operated on the basis of retaining a reserve, but we do see the benefit of keeping a reserve to guard against the loss of a regular donation or a ‘trough’ in the level of expected donations. We will look to calculate such a reserve for future years

Details of any funds materially in deficit

none

Further financial review details (Optional information)

You may choose to include additional information, where relevant about:

Most of our donations are from individuals who have a desire to see new evangelical Christian leaders supported while they receive some training.

We encourage those who have benefitted from similar training in the past to consider making regular donations to support others, but have not performed other formal fundraising activities.
