To promote recreation, inclusivity and social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of those in need by reason of age, illhealth, disability, complex needs or other disadvantage, in particular by the provision of free excursions by tricycle.
The charity was established in 2019 and has two trishaws and over thirty volunteers providing rides around the Tavistock and Launceston areas.

volunteers.|The charity visits a variety of local care and residential homes, dementia
groups, organisations supporting people with complex-need care and
private clients and their families.|

||The charity has continued to offer rides to a wide variety of local care and
community organisations in and around the Launceston and Tavistock
areas.
We provide regular rides from the premises of several local care homes, if
their location has a suitable, safe route for the ride. Using our own
transport capabilities and third-party transport, such as mini-buses
operated by care homes, we have also provided rides from established
community centres such as Roadford Lake nr Launceston, RAF
Harrowbeer in Yelverton and The Wharf, Tavistock.
This is especially important where there are no suitable routes in the
immediate vicinity of a care home/organisation’s premises. Using a local
centre also promotes social inclusion and a regular/sustainable income for
local community hubs and businesses.|

||We cannot exist without our volunteers – they are amazing. Thank you to
each and every one. We hold an annual “thank you” event for our
volunteers to show our appreciation of their contribution.
We have welcomed several new volunteers and have been busy with
trishaw skills practice and First Aid training sessions.
Our volunteers have actively promoted the charity within their own social
and business spheres and together through local clubs and societies.|
Section D Achievements and performance As well as continuing to support our established customer base, we have **Summary of the main** provided rides to a number of new organisations and care homes across **achievements of the charity** both Launceston and Tavistock areas. Both trishaws have been busy **during the year** supporting local communitiies with rides extending throughout the year (weather dependent).
Our social media and funding has been bolstered with trishaw awareness days, for example at the Tavistock Steam Fair. Local storage of both trishaws through kind generosity of local businesses has been instrumental in allowing frequent/regular rides within the towns.
