Trustees’ Annual Report 2023.
As the world recovered from the final wave of the pandemic, we spent some time with the community where we were previously based, to see if there was any room to transition our last project. We investigated if we could pivot into any other educational areas. Sadly, we did not find much support from the local municipality government, which we had hoped. With a heavy heart have decided we need to find a completely new direction for the funds we have raised and take longer to explore new options for the future.
It’s been a quiet year in Nepal for us. Between 2022 and 2023 has been a tough year personally for us to volunteer as much time exploring Nepal’s issues, due to our personal circumstances. We are however united and optimistic, with a keen heart to explore further development in the country in due course.
As trustees we take the funds raised very seriously and are still contributing a little ourselves, while keeping the previous funds safe and respected for future success.
We thank you all for your patience, understanding and kind support. We hope to give a meaningful update as soon as we have researched, developed and agreed on a future project moving forwards.
