Project Hope and Future supports the Night Shelter for homeless people in Stratford, Newham one night a week from early October to the end of December at St Paul’s and St. James Church Stratford. The team clean the room, set up bedsteads, sort bedding and make up beds, one remains at the shelter throughout the evening, sleeps over to look after guests, and cooks breakfast for everyone, and then other members do the laundry each week.

Project Hope and Future contributes to the local community. We attend meetings with community leaders and Newham Council working together to promote peace and harmony, and also events organised by Newham Council for faith leaders on Stopping Hate Crime and other topics. We are active also in refurbishment of Play areas such as the playground area at
Alma street E15 and help Greener together organisation to work effectively in Stratford and Newham, London.
- We support the Food Bank in Newham located at St. Paul`s and St. James Church Stratford. This is Food Bank which never stopped working to help the needy and it was open even during the most difficult lockdown when most of the public buildings were closed. Every Tuesday during all months of the year the Food Bank is open and welcomes people living not only in Newham, but in Walthamstow, Forest Gate and Redbridge as well.
