To advance the Sikh religion in South Yorkshire for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals and to enlighten others about the Sikh religion. Statement on Public Benefit The Iruslees confirm that they have complied with their duly to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising their powers or duties. Achievements and Perfornian¢e Since the irnpact of the Covid-19 Pandemic Gurdwaras across the country have seen a significant change in the way congregats.ons attend and participate in worship. Enhancements in technology have always contributed to a trend of online workshops and ceremonies which were pviOUsly unavailable. Although this has its benefits it is still affecting operations and the congregation has yet to reach the numbers previously held. Charity operations were limited for periods of this financial year. however, several 3 day religious programs were successfully held where attendees travelled frorn different parts of the country to participate.
