As this affected<br>the charity manager and her son<br>directly, the charity took a stand on<br>behalf of all it’s members and<br>launched a petition and survey with<br>the view to appealing to UK<br>Government to have this process<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>




overturned so that the community have their basic human needs restored and vital equipment available to them. Petition reached over 1500+ signatures and comments of support. The petition was not sent to Government however as the supply problem had eased and other larger charities were also speaking out for members of their disabled communities. Redistribution/rehoming care supplies (to the current value of over £220,000.00 on our charity marketplace) within the disabled community, reducing (new and used) waste into landfill; reducing NHS waste.
