We Are the Voice Trustees Annual Report
Firstly, please allow me to apologise for our tardiness in submitting our year end Annual Return ending March 2022. This was due to an unfortunate health issue regarding our volunteer who manages this. We are back on track now. Tiny charities such as ours must rely on our volunteers to whom we are deeply grateful.
2022 was a great year for We Are the Voice Children’s Choir. Following on from our success at being chosen to sing at COP26 in Glasgow, we have performed at Hampton Court Flower Show, Lechlade Music Festival, Vera Fletcher Theatre, Riverhouse Barn, Kingston Old Market Square, Eco Cafes, numerous Eco Fairs, and mayoral charity balls. We have recorded 3 new songs, created 3 new videos and developed a new show called I AM THE EARTH, to mark Earth Day on 22nd April 2022. The show is designed to be performed in various theatres.
We sing for the climate, trees, oceans, wildlife and for the children’s futures. Writing original songs with powerful, poetic lyrics, rousing melodies and luscious harmonies, our aim is to win hearts and minds and raise environmental awareness, inspiring positive, local change, one song at a time!
We wish to fondly thank our out-going trustees for their services and welcome 1 new trustee to our fold.
