Section D Achievements and performance For thirteen years. the Kettering Street Paslors have b8en a caring presence on the streets of KettefirrfJ every Saturday night. As a completely volunteer-run charrty, we're committed to making a positlve impact on our communty. Our dedicated team of volunteers. driven by compassion and failh, walk the streets and pray from home, offering suppor( listening ear5. and practical help to those in need. Summary of th• maln achievements of the charlty during the year This year marked the launth of the Safer NNJM Out (SNO) van in Kettering. prowded by the Northamptonshire Pol￿8 Fire & Crime Commissioner. Hard to miss in its ￿Ight red and yellow colour scheme, the van serves as a pjint of contact and a secure Spa￿ on Saturday n￿hts. complementing our ongoing patrols. The van carries fast chargers for phones. first aid. vrater and of wirs8 lots of lollKqS! In addSllon to our nighttime patrds. also o)nduct patrols on Saturday momings. This year. we launched a new initiative to patrol outsHde a local secondary school during ￿rne time. These daytime patrols allow us to connect dffierent members of the Kettsring community, providing a listenlrvJ ear to those who may feel lonely or need someone to talk to. By the end of the year we had (x)rKlurtsJ around 1LK) patrols during Saturday Dighls. payday Friday nights. Saturday momings. and special evènts such as the town disco and Remembrancé Sunday. During thes patro15. our incxedlble v(4unteers dedicated 2,000 hours of their time, covering approximately 1,200 miles. Throughoul the year, w8 provided water and sick bags lo those who had overindulged, and ensured they made It home safely. We also offered drinks, food, and sleeping bags to rough sleepers. vthile lending a supportwe ear to those facing personal thallenges. Our efforts helped ensure the safety of hundreds ()f vulnerable individuals y￿lting for lifts or taxis home. We also spoke at over 25 schools. chur(**es and l¢xal groups about our and how to stay safe in the n￿hth.￿ economy. We V￿uld lik8 to express our graiiiude to th8 numerous charitable trusts, organlzations. cornpan￿. and individuals who have supported us, including the Michael Guest Charitable Foundation and the Friends of KetterirwJ Street Pastors, vtho o)ntribute every rn￿th.
