Activities

Bath Opera advances the education and appreciation of opera for public benefit. It presents an annual fully staged opera and a summer tour of smaller-scale performances, increasing access in Bath and surrounding areas. It also supports emerging singers through the Bath Opera Young Artists Development Scheme (BOYADS).

Objects: To Advance Public Education In And Appreciation Of The Art Of Opera Music, In Particular But Not Exclusively By: • Promoting Interest In And Access To Opera Through Regular Public Performances, Master Classes And Workshops; • Fostering Musical Education By Offering Young Singers The Opportunity To Work Alongside Experienced Opera Practitioners And Develop As Artists.
