## **ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE 2024** 

Lytham St Annes Lions Club was chartered on 10 May 1962 and is a member of Lions Clubs Interna�onal, a worldwide service organisa�on. 

The club was registered with the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisa�on (CIO) in 2019. (CIO Number 1185052)

Financial support is also given to na�onal and interna�onal chari�es in general and Lions Clubs Interna�onal chari�es in par�cular. 



## **REVIEW OF THE YEAR** 

The main income stream for the club is the annual swimarathon; unfortunately due to ill health the swimarathon booked for January 2025 had to be cancelled and as such the clubs income and dona�ons were restricted during this financial year.

Management and administra�on expenses amounted to £660 largely in rela�on to the trophies and medals for the junior football compe��on and planning for the January 2026 swimarathon. 

## **BANKERS** 

During the year the bankers were changed to Co-Opera�ve Bank using their Charity and Community Bank Account. 

## **FUTURE** 

It is an�cipated that the club will con�nue to work to its objec�ves and to serve both the local and wider communi�es.
