## **ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE 2024**
Lytham St Annes Lions Club was chartered on 10 May 1962 and is a member of Lions Clubs International, a worldwide service organisation.
The club was registered with the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in 2019. (CIO Number 1185052)
The officers during the year were:

## **OBJECTS**
The object of the charity is to help, either financially or physically, those members or groups who, in the opinion of the trustees and members are in need of assistance.
Financial support is also given to national and international charities in general and Lions Clubs International charities in particular.
The club operates on a completely voluntary basis with no paid staff.
## **REVIEW OF THE YEAR**
The Club was pleased to yet again able to organise and run the Annual Swimarathon and had a successful year with a gross income of £19645. The end of year balance of unrestricted funds is £6821

Activities with a net income of over £500 were:
Swimarathon £13817
Management and administration expenses amounted to £1067 largely in relation to the organisation and running of the annual swimarathon.
## **BANKERS**
During this period the National Westminster Bank in St Annes on Sea were the clubs bankers.
## **FUTURE**
It is anticipated that the club will continue to work to its objectives and to serve both the local and wider communities.
