Financial Review and Reserves

The charity's primary source of income is derived from holding social awareness events and the receipt of donations from it's circle of benefactors. The Charity focussed it's activities on disbursing the large build of funds over the past three years. This led to a net inflow of funds amounting to £2,024 as set out on page 5. The present level of reserves are felt to be adequate for the Charity.

Structure, Governance and Management

Moor Park Lions Club (CIO) is a registered charity, number 1185045. The Charity's governing document is its Trust Deed, dated 27th August 2019. The Charity is administered by a management committee comprising the Chair, Trustees, and the coordinators. It is vested in the Trustees to run the charity in accordance with its governing documents in order to meet its charitable objectives.

The major risks, to which the charity is exposed, as identified by the Trustees, are reviewed regularly and procedures have been established to manage those risks.

Going concern

The trustees are satisfied that the Charity is a going concern. Due to the Covid pandemic there were no fund-raising activities undertaken and the Trustees have received assurances from the unpaid Creditors that their liabilities are cancelled under the circumstances and similarly the outstanding debtors will not be required to settle their unpaid funding commitments previously pledged to the Club.
