animals during the period. Some of these
were treated and released by trustees and
some were taken to specialist carers who
treated and arranged rerelease of them. 20
were examined by a qualified veterinarian
and where treated where needed. 40 were
euthanised by a vet as they were not in a
condition to be treated and released.
Requests for advice and assistance was
mainly recorded by phone and
approximately 200 people have been
advised what they should do including
contacting specialist care organisations or
to be examined by a vet.
We have attended several events such as
fairs, festivals, local events, talks to
schools, WI, gardening clubs, church
events etc.
We have added to our list of carers in
Cornwall, so our networking activities have
grown.
The site that has previously been
earmarked for the animal hospital was
withdrawn so the trustees have been
looking for other suitable accommodation.
Some remediation work was completed on
the rehabilitation panes to secure them for
