## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

Hijaz Welfare Trust is a registered charity established to relieve poverty and provide humanitarian assistance. The charity is governed by its Trust Deed and managed by its Board of Trustees, who are responsible for ensuring that all funds are used solely to further the charity's charitable purposes. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The charity's objectives are to relieve poverty, advance education, promote health and provide humanitarian assistance. During the year the charity supported food aid, clean water and community infrastructure projects in Pakistan. The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission's public benefit guidance. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

- £3,000 donated to Al Khair Foundation for the construction of a Masjid in Pakistan. 

- £200 donated to Al Khair Foundation for food parcels in Pakistan. 

- £436 donated to Al Khair Foundation for food parcels in Pakistan. 

- £570 donated towards water wells/pumps in Pakistan. 

- £1,450 donated to Jigsaw Charity for Ramadan hot meals and food parcels.
