Mercy Charity is a registered non-profit Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) based in South West Greater London. Surrey County, United Kingdom.
Our vision is to reach out to the Children and Elderly in need irrespective of their race, colour, ethnicity, gender, disability, faith/ beliefs or their circumstances within Great Britain and to raise awareness on how to reach the needy in Developing Nations.

Sponsored Mercy Charity Walk from Wallington Green to Figges Marsh to help raise money for the children and elderly in need. This will also commemorate Mercy Charity's 1-Year Anniversary.

TIMELINE OF ACTIVITES
' FEBRUARY 2019 - Mercy Charity s Gold & Black Night Launch & Fundraising Event with Live Entertainment & Sale of Raffle Tickets. Up to 150 Admission Tickets were sold online & guests checked in offline. Many won Generous Prizes & Generous Donations were received.
MAY 2019 - Request received from the Pastoral and Family Support Officer of the Federation of St Elphege's School (Surrey). Request to support a vulnerable family, single parent and victim of domestic abuse in purchasing a pushchair. Application for donation was successful and approved.
Mercy Charity was also nominated for the Premier Radio's Love Britain + Ireland Awards [LBIA] 2019. Nominated with regards to Youth and Children's Work, supporting older people in the local community and serving people with additional needs.
JUNE 2019 - Mercy Charity was invited to Premier Radio's Love Britain + Ireland Awards [LBIA] Awards at Devon in Exeter. The event was attended by Director Sika Fadairo and Trustee Kimberley Moyo.
AUGUST 2019 - Mercy Charity was entered on the Register of Charities by the Charity Commission for England & Wales and on the Open Charities Website.
SEPTEMBER 2019 - Application/Request for donation received to support a vulnerable mother formerlly in full-time employment. The mother is on reduced working ours to care for two young children and a house/wheelchair bound husband who was recently diagnosed with severe case of Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME). Application for donation was successful and approved.
OCTOBER 2019 - MP for Carshalton & Wallington looked into over 100 local charities to fundraise in the Year 2020. Mercy Charity was nominated the 5th. The top five nominations were as follows:
I. Sutton Night Watch II. Wallington Animal Rescue III. Playwise IV. Sutton Befrienders V. Mercy Charity.
Text to Donate Facility for the New Year 2020 launched and piloted.
NOVEMBER 2019 - Application/Request received from Pastoral Support and Family Support Officer of the Federation of St Elphege's Schools, Surrey, to support a family in crisis, as a matter of urgency.with no support to assist her with logistics, which was her moving from her temporary accommodation to another permanent accommodation which is very close to the school.
Mercy Charity is aware of family as we have previously supported this vulnerable single mum with four children in the month of July 19. Although, the move will ease the burden of the family reducing their time spent on travel to school.
However, Mercy Charity Trustees believe there should be a process in place when council rehouses lone parents as Ms A and as a way forward we will require Ms A to provide an official quote from the removal company. This is crucial for our records and for reference. As Trustees were deliberating on this case, the school have since made some other arrangements for the Applicant to cover the logistic costs
