2022-2023 Trustees Report - A Year Of Growth
There is a special sense of gratitude that trustees can get, when they see the impact of their charity’s work on and in people’s lives. That feeling is magnified when the impact is seen throughout multiple generations. It shows that the charity has reached a new level of stability. Throughout 2022-2023, we have been blessed to experience this feeling.
Here is a summary of our growth:
-
We have enjoyed further recognition of our work within the wider community and have seen that people have been directed to our services through recommendation.
-
Our income through donations has remained stable and we have collected Gift Aid on past contributions.
-
Our High Holiday Services were sold out as our synagogue continued to expand both within terms of numbers of attendees as well as frequency of prayer-meetings.
-
More excitingly, we have seen other synagogues using our model which we view as a great compliment.
-
We held many events and hosted many guests for festival meals, engaging both young families and couples.
-
Our Counselling Services helped several young couples with difficult relationships.
-
Our weekly Educational Services engaged with members in weekly learning and our podcast have grown in popularity.
We are proud to be a small charity with a big impact.
