For the Financial Year Ended 31 May 2022
The trustees of Call 4 Justice, present their report and financial statements for the year ended 31[st] May 2022.
Principle Activities of CIO
The principle activities of the CIO are to
The CIO is set up to achieve the advancement of human rights for the public benefit, UK and abroad, by helping to prevent human rights abuses and provide relief to victims of such abuses:

To promote human rights (as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions and declarations) throughout the world, in particular but not exclusively in relation to torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment and crimes against humanity, by all or any of the following means:

(a) Monitoring abuses of human rights;

(b) Obtaining redress for the victims of human rights abuse;

(c) Relieving need among the victims of human rights abuse;

(d) Research into human rights issues;
-
(e) Raising awareness of human rights issues;
-
(f) Promoting public support for human rights;
-
(g) Promoting respect for human rights among individuals and corporations;
-
(h) International advocacy of human rights;
-
(I) Eliminating infringements of human rights.
In furtherance of that object but not otherwise, the trustees shall have power:
- To engage in political activity provided that the trustees are satisfied that the proposed activities will further the purposes of the charity to an extent justified by the resources committed and the activity is not the dominant means by which the charity carries out its objects.
Project and Activities of the Call 4 Justice During the Financial Year Ending 31 May 2022: : ﮔﺰﺍﺭﺵ ﺍﻣﻨﺎ
Trustees of CIO managed to be registered as a CIO charity on 22 August 2019. During this financial year Trustees started to establish the way of the activities and prepare the charity’s rules and regulation, due to start of Covid 19 pandemic the activities of the charity has been stopped until the time that trustees can meet and work for the objectives of the CIO. During the financial year ended 31 May 2022, the charity had no financial activities although they carried their activities by social media and attending in several human right meetings in person or online meetings where the issues of justice and the subject of violations of the human rights has been discussed.
Income and Expenditure
During the Financial Year, as was explained above, the CIO had no financial income and the expenditures of the charity was only £64 for the payment of email and website which was paid by one of the trustees of the charity.

(The CIO’s trustees and administration are wholly managed voluntary and there was no paid staff.)
Trustees’ Plan
Trustees’ plans are to:

Set up a web site and start activities for the objectives of the CIO by online appeals

Find potential donors to help with expenses of the projects and objectives of the CIO

to register with HMRC for the Gift Aid scheme
-
to establish required policies for the CIO and consider all risks and provide plans to ensure the risk –free options and procedures
Statement of Trustee’s responsibilities

The trustees are aware that they are required by law applicable to charities in England and Wales to prepare the trustees Annual Report and Financial Statements for every Financial Year, which must give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity.

Select suitable accounting practices and ensure they are applied consistently

Ensure accounting practices adhere to United Kingdom accounting standards

Prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis. If the charity is to be wound up, a final closing account will be produced.

Ensure that any financial records accurately reflect the position of the CIO’s constitution.

The trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and to take reasonable steps to detect and prevent fraud and other irregularities.
