The Foundation assists Appian’s portfolio companies in allocating capital into the most impactful social and environmental programmes, e.g.: • Sponsoring Professional Courses for teachers and local workforce to improve their skills • Build and maintain educational infrastructure • Provide children with courses in music, sport and school work to address social vulnerabilities • Arrange workshops in communities to enable influencing the local public policies • Training to farming families to improve their cocoa and chocolate production as well as guidance in poultry farming • Improving environmental sustainability of Appian’s portfolio companies • Revegetation programs • Kalbar community grants program • Partnership with Educando, Senai, SESI and RICCON in Brazil |
