Scope of this report

Choral Fiscus having an income of less than £10,000 is only required to report income and spending.

Independent Examiner

Choral Fiscus having an income of less than £25,000 has not required an independent examiner or audited accounts.

Paid Staff and Volunteers

The charity has no paid staff. During the year, there were 4 trustees engaged in the review of literature and the administration of grants. During the year Mr. Colin Feltham, trustee, passed away and Mr. Stuart Cook was appointed in his place.

Objectives and activities

The object of the charity is to advance enjoyment and education of the public in the performance of choral and similar classical music.

Public Benefit

The trustees believe that the charity provided public benefit during the year in accordance with the

guidance published by the Charity Commission through the allocation of grants and the running of a web site with diary of choral events.

Achievements and performance

The main activities of the year were: -

Chorali Fiscus has also been supportive of the Bournemouth Youth Chorus and Symphony Chorus in respect of the performance of the Choral work Awakening.

Financial Review

The trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity has sufficient funds to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.

To ensure liquidity and smooth cashflow, all funds are unrestricted and held in cash deposits.

The Trustees aim to maintain sufficient funds to ensure regular commitments can be properly maintained.

Grants totaling £9,218 were made during the year.

Total reserves on 31[st] December 2024 are £14.06.

Income for the period was £6,726.00. The source of income for this year of registration has been a sponsor Lindale 462 Ltd, and £276 arising from book sales at a Chorali Fiscus supported concert of Awakening and a further £750 from Fordingbridge Choral Society for which CF acted as agent in the commissioning of a Christmas Carol on their behalf

Trustee expenses have not been made. No expenses relating to administration of the charity have been incurred.

The charity has no long-term liabilities.

The charity has a commitment of £300.00 in respect of membership of Bournemouth Choral Society for the year 2025

The Trustees have a duty to identify risks to which the Charity is exposed and to ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate these. The trustees regularly review the charity’s financial and administrative procedures and monitor the level of income in the light of regular expenditure, including ensuring a sufficient rate of membership subscription.
