|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**Our Transport Manager, Belinda, is in**<br>**charge of day to day management (as per**<br>**Traffic Commissioner’s requirements) of**<br>**our bus services.**<br>**2022-23 saw an increase of 10% in**<br>**passenger journeys made compared to**<br>**2021-22 and this increase has continued**<br>**into the present year as well  the routes**<br>**have been used by residents and tourists**<br>**visiting the area.**<br>**We commenced the routes in June 2021**<br>**following successfully obtaining our**<br>**Section 22 permits in the previous**<br>**financial year, contracting our service**<br>**provider (Blueworks) and contracting our**<br>**Transport Manager, Belinda.  Passengers**<br>**like the 16 seater low floor buses that we**<br>**mostly use which suit elderly residents**<br>**who find it hard to climb into a coach or**<br>**get in and out of a minibus.  They would**<br>**otherwise have to pay for taxis as none of**<br>**our routes have any other public**<br>**transport options available to them.**<br>**Our fundraising and social events**<br>**mentioned above continue to be a great**<br>**success and also help to raise awareness**<br>**of the bus routes aand timetables.**<br>**We have also been successful in**<br>**obtaining  various grants from a variety**<br>**of sources and we continue to get great**<br>**support from Local Parish Councils.**|
