ANNUAL REPORT FOR LEEDS CARING HANDS 1[st] APRIL 2024 TO 31[ST] MARCH 2025
Since receiving the Kings Voluntary Services Award in 2023 our numbers have increased. This past year we welcomed 1691 Attendees to our two sessions a week.
Monday is a chair exercise class with an average of twenty five attending followed by an IT session to assist with any technical issues patients may have, particularly the use of Patchs and NHS app. Wednesday session provides activities such as table tennis, snooker, craft, board games and jigsaw puzzles.
Our service users really appreciate having this group to combat their isolation and loneliness with the opportunity to make new friends. We provide refreshments for both sessions which is charged at £2 per person.
