a) Raising public awareness of such crime and harassment
induding by organising and facilitating annual events and a

such cnme and harassment and collaboration between
intemational, nab'onal, regional, and local authorities.

Three annual April Acts of Remembrance on the 17fh. 24 and

30 April in Brixton, Brick Lane, and Soho.
National Hate Crime Awareness Week delivered between the
2nd and 3rd Saturday in October.
The creation and distribution of hate crime resources lour
annual H.O.P.E. campaign).
Volunteer activities- volunteer sessions. research. training,
outreach, fundraising, stewarding, media, and social media
including social media content, blog posts, website, and
newsletter.
Attendance of meetings, seminars, and conferences to
represent and advocate for the views of those affected by
hate crime.
Working in partnership with local authorities (police and
councils), key partners and communities affected by hate
crime.
Rainbow Boroughs Project- Wordpress site. Facebook page
(public and private page and group), Twitter profile and
marching group at Pride events.

In 2022123 10 active volunteers contributed over 1242
volunteer hours.
Achievement and
Performance
This year we expanded the membership of our Board of
Trustees and have held regular monthly Board Meetings.
Menara Ahmed joined in April 2022. Danni Glover, Debbie
Charles. Pek-san Tan. and Scott Longman joined in June
2022. Michael Avila joined the Board in May 2023.
Tony Collins-moore stepped down in September 2022, and
Scott Longman stepped down in February 2023. Diana James
stepped down in May 2023.
We have delivered regular twice-weekly volunteer sessions
on Mondays and Tuesdays between 10 am to 5 pm
throughout 2022/23 although volunteer attendance
has remained low.
We renewed our zoom license 50 that we could continue
hosting activities online, we hosted our N3tionalHCAW
meetings. and we have provided access to our Zoom account
to our Rainbow Boroughs Project and Saxon's Online LGBT+
Book Club.
We marked the 23rd anniversaries of the three nail bomb

attacks on Brixton. Brick Lane, and Soho on the 17 ,24 and

30 April 2018 with in-person events which were well
attended this year.
Our Rainbow Boroughs Project secured a place on the Pride
in London Parade- and we took part in the Parade with
about 30+ people. The private Facebook group now has 92
members. The project has developed its Rainbow Boroughs
Blog and produced LGBT+ focused newsletters and projects.

We secured £25.000 funding from MOPAC to produce and
distribute hate crime resources as part of our annual H.O.P.E.
campaign. This year we had a £791.72 underspend which
MOPAC have agreed we can retain and spend on delivering
the project in 2023124.
We delivered the iith National Hate Crime Awareness Week
with the support of local authorities1249 councils across the
UK responded to our National FOI stating they were taking
part in the national week. and all but 2 of the Police Services
confirmed they were participating as welll, key partners and
communities affected by hate crime across the UK.
This included:
Updated NationalHCAW website.
N3tionalHCAW Google Map 2022.
21 e-newsletters
Act of Hope and Remembrance for those affected by
Hate Crime at St Paul's Cathedral.
Social media campaign- We Stand Together Against
Race Hate Crime.
We partnered with CARG- Campaign Against Racism Group
to raise awareness of hate crime directed against the East
and Southeast Asian communities during the pandemic.
We returned to St Paul's Cathedral to hold our annual Act of
Hope and Remembrance for those affected by Hate Crime.
The national candle was lit by Pek-san Tan from CARG in
memory of those affetted by Hate Crime diretted against the
East and Southeast Asian communities. Focus on Race Hate
Crime.
The UK Hate Crime Network group on Linkedln has 525
members.
We joined The Rainbow Lottery at the beginning of the year.

Through Facebook fundraising, PayPal Giving and the
Rainbow Lottery we have raised £594.86 {unrestricted funds
which will go towards the development of our volunteer
work and projects).
Financial review
Review of the charivs financial position
at the end of the period.
The financial position of the charity at the
year-end was reserves at £4,822.43
(unrestricted £4,068.09 restricted £791.72).

The charity is planning towards building
reserves for the running costs of 6 months
of the charity. Which we have achieved this
year.

I report to the trustees on my examina�on of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31[st] March 2023. 

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the prepara�on of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Chari�es Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examina�on of the Trust’s accounts carried out  under sec�on 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examina�on, I have followed the applicable Direc�ons given by the Charity Commission under sec�on 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examina�on.  I confirm that no material maters have come to my aten�on in connec�on with the examina�on which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
