**Objects:** TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE TRAINING, EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ANDRESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF (INDEPENDENT) MIDWIFERY, AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFULRESULTS OF SUCH DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH.TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF PARENTS AND THEIR BABIES THROUGH THEORGANISATION AND PROVISION OF INDEPENDENT MIDWIFERY SERVICES FOR ALL FAMILIES,IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR FINANCIAL MEANS, BY THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF THEPRACTICE OF INDEPENDENT MIDWIFERY.

**Activities:** TIMBET is here to respect the birth choices for all, enabling all to source the midwifery care needed to advocate and  support those choices.  To keep midwifery skills at the forefront of care offered, using up to date evidences and research to support this and educate those midwives working outside of the NHS.  By offering grants and setting up complimentary workshops and conferences.
