Background & Introduction

Search Peace Foundation is charitable organisation. The Trustees are. responsible for making sure the charity delivers on its charitable objectives. Search Peace Foundation believes in creating a cross-cultural understanding, ethnic harmony, workforce diversity and most importantly economic stability by focusing on the key issues of the marginalized. members of the society. Search Peace Foundation also conducts interfaith. & intercultural workshops, Events, Seminars & Conferences to promote peace and harmony globally. We believe in equality, respect, Integrity. solidarity.

Projects & Activities

our dedicated team work just like frontline workers and remain in a close contact with the vulnerable people of BAME. We have been providing them the key basic necessities since the start of this pandemic that helped them to survive and sustain in a better way. One of the key aspects of this project is ‘Care to Share’ where we helped the marginalized community members in the initial & after period of the pandemic. Under the guidance and leadership of our core team, many volunteers, and staff members are still working with BAME in order to know. about their key issues and problems that evolve during this pandemic. We are devising various practical interventions and training programmes that. can change the lives of many marginalized BAME members who still want. to be heard and helped out. We engaged and supported 250-300 BAME families including their households of all age groups. Search Peace Foundation engaged their best team including staff and volunteers to carry out the food distribution and winter packs campaign for BAME families in London.

Skills Development Programme:

Majority of BAME members may need to learn some new skills or adapt the updated knowledge regarding their work. This area is usually neglected especially for minorities who learn through trial and error. Special skills development programmes can be arranged for BAME members where focus should be to enlighten them and prepare them for the future professional needs. This will encourage a lot of community members to actively take part in learning process and showcase their best abilities through their work.

Cricket Festival

Cricket is the language and culture for south Asian communities. Waltham Forest is one of the diverse boroughs of London. Cricket is very expensive sports. It’s myth that only elite class plays cricket. With the support of Waltham Forest Council Search Peace Foundation delivered a mazing Cricket Festival. The WF Cricket Festival has provided an amazing opportunity for local residents to enjoy as Cricket is common language and culture of the BAME communities.
