Activities

The charity rents out it's various rooms to local community groups and provides a safe space for these groups to operate. Many of these groups are centered around children. The charity also runs coach trips for local people to theatres and other landmarks although this has been somewhat curtailed during the pandemic.

Objects: To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Hayling Island (hereinafter Called The 'area Of Benefit') Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations And Inhbitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Faclities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants.to Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre (hereinafter Called The Centre), And To Maintain And Manage Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The CIO And Its Consistuent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
