opened on 21stApril 2021 and has provided holistic
education to over 70 pupils since opening.
The charities supplementary school, UMTA, has
provided educational support services for over 200
pupils since its inception in March 2018.
The children who access the charities services are
supported academically, spiritually and mentally to
become well rounded, global citizens who will
make a positive contribution to their communities
and society.
The charity operates to ensure the highest of
educational standards and this was recognised
through its Ofsted inspection in May 2022, where
Unique Academy was rated as ‘Good’ in regard to
its quality of education, pupil behaviour, pupil
outcomes, early years provision and leadership
and management.

Performance of fundraising
activities against objectives set

Para 1.41

Our aim was to raise around £5k per month for
the next 12 months, however, we have raised
over £11k in donations during this period. This is
due to the fact that during some months, our
planned activities did not bring in the expected
funds, particularly due to the cost of living crisis
that has ensued after the COVID-19 pandemic.

I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of “UNIQUE KNOWLEDGE SEEKERS ACADEMY” (the CIO) for the year ended 05/04/2022.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the Charity Trustees of the CIO, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s (UNIQUE KNOWLEDGE SEEKERS ACADEMY) accounts carried out under s. 145 of the 2011 Act; and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under s. 145(5)(b) of the Act.
