Organised an LGBT+ Pride march in Derby, to promote equality and diversity whilst celebrating LGBT+ culture. Organised an LGBT+ day festival in Derby, celebrating LGBT+ culture and bringing together LGBT+ people and the wider community. Organised several smaller fundraising events and activities for the benefit of the community. Throughout the year we continued to utilise social media to keep in contact with the community and to educate and inform the general public on LGBT+ related issues. |

Para 1.20 | The primary achievement of the charity was planning and organising the Derby Pride day festival, which celebrated LGBT+ culture and brought together both the LGBT+ and wider communities. Included in this were: 1. A market area with stalls providing support and information to the LGBT+ community, and an outlet for independent LGBT+ owned local businesses. 2. A dedicated family area providing a safe space for children, with age appropriate entertainment and activities. 3. A main stage with various artists and performers, providing entertainment and a platform for local LGBT+ artists. |

CHARITY COMMISSION FOR ENGLAND AND WALES Independent examiner's report on the accounts Section A Independent Examiner's Report Report to the trusteesl members of Charily NaTlle Derby Pride CIO On accounts for the year ended 30th September 2024 Charity no (if any) 1184683 Set out on pages I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity {"the Trust") for the year ended 3010912024. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements ofthe Charities Act 2011 ('the Act.). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515)(b} of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination lolher than that disclosed below ') which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect.. the ac¢ounting records were not kept in accordan with section 130 of the Charities Act., or the accounts did not accord with the accounting records,. or the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements conceming the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities {Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair, view which is not a matter onsidered as part of an independent examination.
