## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

We are still in the process to take on a 10 year Lease from Stoke on Trent City Council to allow us to self manage the club. 

To improve the facilities for club members by Management of the Grant received from Stoke on Trent City Council 

A large part of the income was used to improve the condition of the bowling green which included scarifying, feeding, weed treatment. 

This has shown some siignificant improvement to the green condtion. 

Resumption of league bowling along with social bowling. The teams achieved varying results in the leagues but the main purpose is to provide bowling to all members of any age and ability.

The aim is to be able to move our Profit and Loss from a break even situation into a positive profit.

The income or funds to sustain the Charity are derived from :

The Grant from Stoke on Trent City Council has enabled us to improve the  facilities for members and visitors to the club.  How expenditure has It has made a big improvement over the existing facilities supported the key particularly toilets for ladies and gents which are more modern objectives of the charity; and better located.

All expenditure is used to encourage greater use and membership to ensure a healthier and social recreation.
