As of the 31st December 2024, The TeddyRose Foundation was working with over 15 NHS hospital bereavement units in England. Since incorporation, we have donated a combination of the following lo the bereavement units.. Cuddle Blankets, Care Packages, HITH Keyrings, Cuddle Cols, Reading books for siblings. Glolhing etc. Our donations help the bereavement units with the support that they can provide lo families who have suffered a devaslaling baby loss. Summary of the main activities underiaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects {include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Cornmission on public benefiti We also make donations directly to members of the public who contact us and have sadly been impacted by baby loss. We provide families with face-t(Fface emotional support via our support groups, which are held monthly. We have a Strong social media presence and have been in contact with many families through our social media platforms and website, which allows families lo speak lo our volunteers who have first-hand experience of baby loss. In Dec-24, we held our Christmas Crafts Day, where bereaved siblings were able lo come and make special decorations in memory of their brother or sister that they could lake home for their Christmas Tree. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year NHS Hospital Bereavement Units We know from the feedback from the specialist bereavement Midwives who work on the units and the heartfelt messages we gel from families, that the donations and support we are providing lo families are valuable and helping lo make a difference. Throughout CY24, we donated the following- Cuddle Blankets. Care Packages. HITH Keyrings. and Small Baby Clothes etc. Donations We received a significant amount of donations during CY24. We are fortunate that many families we have supported either donate to the charity or go on lo arrange fundraisers to support our charity, all in memory of their precious baby. We received 2 significant donations in Dec-24. One from a local choir. as we were chosen as one of their 'Charilies of the year,, and the other from a local company as part of their 12 days of Christmas campaign, where they support charities. Fundraisers The charity was able lo generate additional income via fundraisers from items donated to the charity. Personal Support We host a monthly face-to-face support group for anyone impacted by Baby Loss and continue to provide support via our website and social media platforms. The support we provide is more emotional and gives people an opportunity to speak to someone who has first-hand experience of baby loss. Wave of Light Service On the 15th Ocl-24, we hosted a 'Wave of Light Baby Loss Remembrance Service, al our local Parish Church in Solihull. which was very well allended and appreciated. The Wave of Light is an opportunity to join with other bereaved parents, families. friends. and people around the globe lo light a candle and come lo remember all babies and children who have sadly died. Christmas Crafts Day For Siblings In Dec-24 we held our 4th Christmas Crafts Day, where bereaved siblings COLJld come and make special decorations in memory of their brother or sister that they could lake home for their Christmas Tree. We do feel that this event is greatly appreciated by those who attend. TAR CY24
