TO RELIEVE SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AMONGST PERSONS ENDANGERED BY ACCIDENTS OR NATURAL HAZARDS AND TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE SECURE AND EFFICIENT SEARCH AND RESCUE OF ANY PERSON OR PERSONS SO ENDANGERED IN AND AROUND SNOWDON IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY.2. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN ALL ASPECTS OF MOUNTAIN SAFETY.3. TO PROVIDE GRANTS AND/OR EQUIPMENT TO CHARITIES WHICH SUPPORT MOUNTAIN RESCUE.

**Activities:** To relieve suffering and distress amongst persons endangered by accidents or natural hazards and to provide adequate arrangements for the secure and efficient search and rescue of any person or persons so endangered in and around Snowdon in particular but not exclusively. To educate the public in all aspects of mountain safety.
