## **Trustees Report for the Period 1[st] July 2024 to 30[th] June 2025** 

The trustees’ present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 30[th] June 2025. The trustees who served during the period and up to the date of this report are set out on page one. 

## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

A dedicated team of club members recommend and advise all other members on what donations they feel are suitable. The recommendations are voted on and passed to the trustees for approval. The roles of president, secretary and treasurer are appointed annually by the membership. 

The four remaining trustees are elected annually by the membership. 

## **Review of Activities and Achievements** 

The trustees feel that during the year there has been good management of the club objectives of providing financial support relating to charitable activities and community service activities. It is hoped that the objective can be met again in future years. 

## **Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities** 

The  trustees  are  responsible  for  preparing  the  annual  report  and  the  financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accountancy Practice. 

Law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the charities financial activities during the year and for the financial position at the end of the year. In preparing financial statements giving a true and fair view, the trustees are required to: 

- Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.

- Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent. 

- Prepare  the  financial  statements  on  the  going  concern  basis  unless  it  is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation. 

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at the time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1993.They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
